Two & Half Men star Angus T Jones apologises to the shows cast & crew for filth comments

Angus T Jones has apologised to the cast and crew of Two and A Half Men for showing them “disrespect” and “indifference” following a bizarre YouTube rant in which he described the show as “filth”
He did not, however, retract his appeal for audiences to stop watching the programme nor did he apologise for expressing his new found evangelical Christian views in such a public manner.
The actor – who’s been starring on the show for around a decade and earns a reported £200k per episode – released a statement following the furore surrounding the video saying:
“Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and a Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family,”
“I apologise if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. never intended that.”
The 19-year-old released this official statement following, what must have been, an incredibly awkward rehearsal for the sitcom yesterday.
His rant was on behalf of the California-based Forerunner Christian Church who he’s just become a member of.
The CBS network and Warner Bros Television have so far declined to comment on the incident, however former star of the show Charlie Sheen has. He said Angus is clearly having a “meltdown” and added: “It is clear to me that the show is cursed,” referring to his own very public breakdown while starring on the programme.
