Something tells us Carmen Electra will not be pleased with Simon Cowell

We gave up trying to figure out what goes on in Simon Cowell’s love life a long time ago because it’s just too bloody confusing.

All we know is that Simon is currently “dating” Carmen Electra – as he admitted during an interview with Ryan Seacrest – and was previously engaged to Mezhgan Hussainy so by rights he should currently be on holiday with the woman he’s now going out with, rather than the one who is his ex.

But no – here Simon Cowell is enjoying some fun in the sea on his annual holiday in Barbados with Mezhgan, who he broke off his engagement with around a year ago, at the time describing their relationship as a “big mistake”.

Mezhgan is by no means the first ex who Simon shares a somewhat complicated relationship with; he constantly goes on cosy holidays with former love interests Sinitta and Jackie St Clair.

Mind you, it doesn’t sound like his and Carmen’s romance is quite so clear cut either – when he revealed all about their frisson he said:

"She's not my girlfriend. We're people who date. She's adorable, isn't she?" 

She’ll probably be in Mezhgan’s place on that jet ski next year.
