J-Lo wears neither underwear nor a smile to the premiere of new film Parker

Last night Jennifer Lopez ventured out in Las Vegas to work the red carpet at the premiere of her new film Parker.

The general attire for ladies over 40 (or ladies over 21 if we’re anything to go by) consists of layers, many, many, wobble-controlling layers. Hold up knickers, figure correcting suits, loose black layers, a cardigan or cover up, and a statement necklace -statement being ‘look above my breasts not at anything below them’.

However, J-Lo is not your average 40-something and at 43 Jen is so confident of how good she looks she’s willing to wear a tight dress with sheer panels reaching above her thighs and no underwear. Oh, and no black here, the colour is frightening, flaw-exposing nude.

Despite having the body of a goddess, J-Lo looked like she was finding it difficult to crack a smile, her face looking instead either moody or in pain.

If this new film is anything like any of her others perhaps she had just watched Parker and the wind had changed.

The singer-come-actress-come-perfumist–come walking dollar sign, recently admitted to the Mirror that she was depressed during the shooting of Parker because of her divorce from Marc Anthony.

She told the Mirror: “It was very hard to get up in the morning. Very hard. When you’re depressed and sad all the time it’s very difficult,”

“I felt like my whole life had fallen apart. What I had known for seven or eight years with my children and everything, it was just... boom! An explosion!”

Cheer up Jen, it’s not all bad – take a look in the mirror!
