They have excellent chemistry off-screen, so Leighton Meester and boyfriend Adam Brody are looking to see how well their romance translates onto film.

The "Gossip Girl" actress and her handsome beau will both star in the upcoming movie "Life Partners" along with Gabourey Sidibe, Gillian Jacobs, and Abby Elliott.

When Leighton and Adam first costarred in a film together ("The Oranges") in 2011 things seemed to go pretty well.

"Life Partners" is about a girl name Paige who vows not to get married until her lesbian friend Sasha has the same legal right.
