Adele is confirmed to be singing the theme tune to the new James Bond film Skyfall
Adele has been confirmed as the voice behind the theme tune to the new James Bond film, Skyfall. The singer has been taking a break from the music industry during her pregnancy – this will be her first venture back into the recording studio since she took the break.
007 dreams
Rumours began to circulate again earlier this month after the 21 singer was seen visiting the Abbey Road Studios in London where the soundtrack is being recorded. Total Film has now confirmed that she will be performing the track.
Last year the singer revealed that she would be going back into the studio to record a track but didn't chose her words wisely - prompting speculation that she was the chosen artist for the film.
"I'm going back in the studio in November… well, this is actually a theme -- what I've got to do for, um…"
Said too much there eh, Adele?

The 24-year-old has some big shoes to fill however. Previous artists that have recorded the iconic songs include Madonna, Paul McCartney and Shirley Bassey. The last film, Quantum of Solace had the theme tune sung by Alicia Keys and Jack White with their collaboration on Another Way To Die.
There's no stopping her...
Aside from this triumph however, it seems as if things are only getting better for the Make You Feel My Love singer.
It's rumoured that she is being lined up as the face of Burberry's plus size collaboration. The songstress has previously spoken highly of the brand, having met Christopher Bailey on a couple of occasions.
"I've always loved Burberry. I remember saving for three years to get my first bag before I got signed."
We've got our fingers crossed for you Adele!
