Elisha Cuthbert: Engaged to Dion Phaneuf!

Adding on to the trend of Hollywood ladies pairing up with pro hockey hunks, Elisha Cuthbert is the latest actress to settle down with an NHL pro.

The "Girl Next Door" darling joyously announced that she'll be saying "I do" with Dion Phaneuf via an engagement revelation on Twitter this Sunday (September 2).

Of the momentous occasion in her young life, 29-year-old Cuthbert posted, "Happily, happily, happily, happily engaged! This has been the most amazing weekend ever."

Elisha and Dion - who have been an item since May 2008 - celebrated their agreed upon nuptials with a swanky dinner at New Glasgow Lobster in Prince Edward Island last night.

Commenting on hosting the good-looking lovebirds, a tweet from the eatery's page read, "Last night we had the privilege of hosting a surprise engagement party for Dion Phaneuf and Elisha Cuthbert. Congrats to them both."

Meanwhile, details regarding an actual wedding date have not been made available at the current time.
