Tulisa and Jessie J to battle it out for Best Female at the Mobo awards
Tulisa Contostavlos and Jessie J will go head to head at this year's Mobo awards, as they are both in the running for the award of Best Female. The artists in the running for the awards were announced earlier today, with the ceremony set to take place in Liverpool on 3 November.
Let battle commence...
The Domino singer cleared the board at the Mobo's last year, picking up four gongs. Her nominations included, Best Song for Do It Like A Dude, Best UK Act and Best Newcomer.
But will Tulisa be able to steal her crown? News earlier today came that her latest single, Live It Up has only entered the chart at number 11.
Ouch.

Still, this looks like it's going to be a close competition.
Rita Ora, Emeli Sande, Jessie Ware and Rebecca Fergusson are also in the running to claim the coveted prize.
Who else is up?
Plan B and Emeli Sande are leading the way with five nominations each. The rapper is up for Best Male, Best Hip-hop/Grime act, Best Video, Best Song and Best Album for Ill Manors. Along with being in the running for Best Female, Emeli is up for Best R&B/Soul Act, Best Video for My Kind Of Love, Best Song for Next To Me and Best Album for Our Version of Events.
They had better buy new trophy cabinets just in case.

Rita Ora and Labrinth follow with four nominations each. British singer Ed Sheeran, who cleared out the Brits earlier this year, is hot on their heels with three mentions.
Bring it on we say.
