Jessica Biel wore pink Giambattista Valli to marry Justin Timberlake

It seems pink really does make the boys wink if the latest wedding dress trend is anything to go by.

Following in the footsteps of Anne Hathaway and her pink-tinted Valentino wedding dress , Jessica Biel chose a petal pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown to tie the knot with Justin Timberlake last weekend.

In the first wedding picture released today by People and Hello! magazines, Biel is seen sitting in her gown as her new groom jumps for joy behind her in their Italian wedding venue.

Speaking of her dress, the actress told the publication that she wanted it to be "romance, romance, romance. Kind of whimsical and dramatic." Although we won't see the gown in detail until the next issue of Hello! hits newsstands on Monday, it seems it is similar in style to one that was part of Giambattista Valli's spring/summer 2012 Couture collection (pictured above).

Biel, 30, is great friends with the Italian fashion designer and has worn his creations many times on the red carpet. Valli, who founded his eponymous label in 2005, has only recently introduced Haute Couture, showing just two collections so far - spring/summer 2012 and autumn/winter 2012-13 - both of which have been praised by critics.

Earlier this week, Biel's stylist friend Bobbie Thomas revealed Valli had not only dressed Biel in a one-off gown with a "princess-like silhouette", but that the designer had also created dresses for her bridesmaids.

Hello! also revealed that Timberlake, who wore a suit by Tom Ford, serenaded his bride with a self-penned love song as she walked down the aisle. "I figured if there was something I was going to be able to offer, it would be to sing her down the aisle. Grown men were weeping. Hopefully it's because I didn't sound bad," the former N-Sync member said.
