Kristen Stewart + Japanese TV interview = massive awkwardness

Even at the best of times, Kristen Stewart is an awkward soul to say the least. Factor in a gigantic language barrier, jet lag and a culture clash and wuddya get? One hell of a cringey interview, that’s what.

Kristen is currently in Japan promoting the latest instalment of the Twilight saga and while there she’s being carted around the inevitable parade of promotional interviews.

This one didn’t go so well; while being quizzed by three hosts on a morning TV show Kirsten found it hard to answer questions being constantly fired at her, while having a translator whisper in her ear from behind at the same time. It was an uncomfortable situation made all the more uncomfortable by her constant fidgeting and general lack of forthcoming answers.

But let’s not be so hard on her – we don’t know how we’d fare in a similar position.

Meanwhile her boyfriend Robert Pattinson is currently in Australia doing similar promotional interviews for the movie over there. Bet you she wishes she could trade places with him.
