Louis Walsh reckons Simon Cowell sees Union J as a threat

Nobody could’ve guessed that One Direction would be as popular as they have been, but now they are it’s hard to believe anyone could grab their crown.

Louis Walsh believes that his boys Union J have got what it takes to do so; the Irish music mogul claims that Simon Cowell didn’t reference the group when praising this series of X Factor recently because he sees the boys as a threat to One Direction.

'He knows Union J are a threat to One Direction so he's not going to say much about them’ said Louis, adding:

‘There's always room for a new boyband if they are good enough and they work hard’

Obviously Louis holds high hopes for the band, and if looks are anything to go by then they certainly are working hard at the moment; when they were spotted out earlier it seems they’d barely had time to change out of their pyjamas before heading to the studio.
