Savannah Miller unveils eponymous label

The 32-year-old mother-of-three - who has a degree in knitwear design from Central Saint Martins and has previously worked at Alexander McQueen and Matthew Williamson - formerly headed up label Twenty8Twelve with her famous sibling Sienna Miller. The pair decided to leave the brand in January this year saying they were looking forward to exploring "new pastures".

Whilst her sister prepared for the arrival of her first child, a little girl named Marlowe who was born in July, Savannah set about working on her new fashion project from her actress sister's London home.

"Ironically, we worked a lot more together on this one than we have for a while because we were living together, and when I started designing I didn't have a studio so did most of it from her roof. I really value her advice and perspective because I think her style is amazing and she has a very unique point of view," she told Vogue.co.uk.

Her aim was to produce "clothes to wear every day that don't cost the earth and make you feel great," which is reflected in the £20 to £175.95 price range.

The range includes everything a woman could need to create the perfect capsule wardrobe - outerwear, knitwear, and everyday jersey pieces as well as sprinkling of more 'evening' pieces, - and uses a lone swallow as its logo, something which Savannah decided upon when her mother-in-law told her that swallows only nest in houses of love.

Miller hopes to introduce swimwear for the summer season and also extend the selection of footwear offered by the label, but says the most important thing to her is ensuring that quality isn't compromised by price point.
