Hugh Grant banned from US TV show after being rude to staff backstage

He’s famously cantankerous when not in front of the cameras, so it should come as no surprise that Hugh Grant has ruffled his fair share of feathers during the course of his career.

He seems to have got under the skin of one person in particular however – US TV host Jon Stewart, who had the actor on his programme ‘The Daily Show” to discuss his epic film flop ‘Did You Hear About The Morgans?’

At a recent event Stewart complained that Grant was so mean to his staff backstage during his appearance that he’d now never have him on the show again. Speaking about his behaviour, Jon said:

“He's giving everyone s*** the whole time, and he's a big pain in the a**. And we've had dictators on the show.”

Apparently Hugh particularly irked Jon when he complained about the clip they chose to play on the show of his aforementioned movie.

'What is that clip? It's a terrible clip' he told the host, to which Stewart amazingly replied:

‘Well, then make a better f***ing movie.'

That told him then?
