Simon Cowell confirms Britains Got Talent return, but what we really want is him back on The X Factor

Simon Cowell has confirmed that he'll be back on our screens as a full-time judge on the upcoming 2013 series of Britain's Got Talent.

For the past couple of years, Simon has chosen to skip the no doubt, er, let's say draining, auditions to join the show only at the live stages, but this year he'll be part of the panel from when the auditions begin on 16 January next year.

Simon will be joined by last year's judging team, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon. Says the big boss man,

"I loved doing the show last year, the new panel worked really well and I'm very happy they have all agreed to come back. Last year was a special year for talent and I hope that in 2013, off the back of an amazing year for Britain, we find another global star."

With Simon's more committed return to Britain's Got Talent for the 2013 series, there's only going to be yet more speculation about a possible X Factor comeback.
