Watch: Henry Cavill dons the famous red cape in this trailer for Man of Steel
Well, this looks A Bit Good: the new extended trailer for the upcoming Superman reboot, Man of Steel, has been released this week, and like every superhero movie over the past couple of years it looks very very serious indeed, because comics are a serious business. There will be no Dean Cain here, people. There will be no flying backwards around the world so fast you get back in time. This is serious.
The film stars British actor Henry Cavill (who you might remember from The Tudors? Or Red Riding Hood? Are none of these ringing any bells?) and Amy Adams, and is directed by 300's Zack Snyder. Christopher Nolan, fresh from the very very serious Batman trilogy, will also be involved, with Man of Steel marking the first time that he has not principally cast Michael Cane, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Tom Hardy, like, ever. Maybe they will make a cameo or something. Remember, heatworld is the place to be for all of your Christopher Nolan jokes.
Man of Steel is expected in cinemas in June next year.
