Straight from her live performance at the National Television Awards last night, Ella Henderson admitted that being up on the stage was just like being on the X Factor.
Not because Dermot O'Leary was there. Not because there were phone lines involved. No – it was because those cheeky judges were sat right in the front row.
Who does the seating plans at these things?
Chatting backstage to heat's Lucie Cave, the 17-year-old said that despite singing to no one, she couldn't help but start to catch people's eyes and low and behold – there they were.
Poor girl.
The former X Factor star went on to share her excitement about her new music and working on her debut album. She's making creative sparks with producers that have worked with Adele and Cheryl Cole, don't you know!
This is all very exciting.
