Samia Ghadie beams after Dancing On Ice as she leaves the studio with Sylvain Longchambon

Her relationship with dancing partner Sylvain Longchambon has been tabloid fodder for the last few weeks, however Samia Ghadie put all that behind her last night as she left the ITV studios following a successful performance.

The Coronation Street star’s skating routine to Rihanna’s Diamonds received a respectable score from the judges and got praise from new judge Ashley Roberts who told her she’d “set the standard” for the rest of the show.

In her VT prior to the performance, Samia admitted that all the speculation surrounding her and Sylvain had been making her “feel sick.” She said:

“There’s been a lot of speculation and mine and Sylvain’s relationship in the press. It hasn’t been easy – it’s added a lot of pressure and worry.

“I’m terrified [of the first show]. I can’t eat, I can’t sleep, I feel sick all the time.”

Judge Jason Gardiner told her last night to not let all the tittle tattle affect her, saying:

“Ignore what everyone’s saying about the chemistry, just relax.”

Samia agreed, replying:“All the unwanted press attention has been a struggle this week. But tonight the audience and my family being here helped.”

Pamela Anderson ended up getting booted off the show, blaming a wardrobe malfunction which left her nipple hanging out. It’s by no means the first time she’s done this, or the last we should imagine.
