The Duchess of Cambridges Issa engagement dress gets a maternity makeover

What does one wear when one is royal, pregnant and in the public eye? Why, a moment-defining dress - repurposed to accommodate a regal bump - would be an option, and luckily for the Duchess of Cambridge, is now a reality.
The blue wrap dress the Duchess wore to announce her engagement to Prince William back in 2010 - and which matched her sapphire engagement ring perfectly - has been re-released in maternity sizes by its maker Issa.

Stocked by maternity clothing specialists Blossom Mother and Child on its website, the infamous dress retails at £522 and is described as "Part of Issa's DNA, this classic wrap dress delivers without fail every time."
Shortly after the Duchess - with her long-courted prince on her arm - greeted the world's press in the original dress which she picked up from Fenwick on Bond Street, the £385 style flew off the rails and a slew of copycat designs flooded the high street and even supermarket Tesco - whose £16 version sold out online.
