Alexa Chung reveals more details about her book

There was much excitement when it was announced last year that the perennially-stylish Alexa Chung would be penning a book, set for release in September 2013, and now the model/presenter/lots-of-things has revealed further details.

"I'm writing, I'm drawing and I'm taking photographs. It's definitely not an autobiography, but it's me writing so in a way it probably will have that element," she told Vogue.

Admitting that when news of the book was announced last October she didn't have a clue what format the publication would take, Chung revealed that she's already written content and is currently getting to grips with the layouts and artwork.

But the part she's most excited about it seems is her drawings. A keen doodler, the Bambi-legged beauty has previously showcased a taster of her talents by illustrating the cover of charity Ctrl.Alt.Shift's 'Dear Diary' book, and has also said that if she hadn't found fame she'd have gone to art college to pursue a career in the creative industries.

"Drawing is probably the main, number one thing I can do - that I'm best at," she says. "It makes sense, if I can get dressed well then that's what I'm good at: visuals. Putting things next to things."

So, we can add '/illustrator' to her lengthy job title now too.
