Getting in some essential girl time, Julianne Hough and Nina Dobrev hit up the Los Angeles Lakers basketball game at the Staples Center last night (March 17).

The newly-single "Safe Haven" cutie and her "Vampire Diaries" gal pal looked to be having a blast as they strolled into the venue to watch the home team trounce the Sacramento Kings with a final score of 113-102.

And during the game, Ms. Dobrev reportedly got dissed by the legendary Jack Nicholson- she tweeted, "Just asked Jack Nicholson to take a picture WITH ME. He said no. #rejected. Haha so I took a pic of him solo…"

Julianne has been seeking comfort and support in her tight-knit group of friends since splitting with longtime boyfriend Ryan Seacrest over irreconcilable career schedules.
