Stephenie Meyer Talks The Host: Different than Twilight

She's one of the hottest writers in the business, and Stephenie Meyer is excited for her fans to see her latest flick "The Host."
The prolific author told press that while the movie is definitely a completely new storyline from her "Twilight" franchise with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, viewers will still notice a "little bit" of similarity to her vampire chronicles.
"I feel like they're very different stories. There's still some romance cause I wrote it. [Romance is] really fun to write, and it's something that makes us do crazy things."
"The Host" is slated to hit theaters on March 29th and stars Saoirse Ronan, Diane Kruger, and Emily Browning. Per the synopsis, "When an unseen enemy threatens mankind by taking over their bodies and erasing their memories, Melanie will risk everything to protect the people she cares most about, proving that love can conquer all in a dangerous new world."
