Stylists to Jennifer Lopez, Taylor Swift, Julianne Moore & Naomi Watts Score on The Hollywood Reporters Annual Power List

The Hollywood Reporter’s third annual Stylist List has once again established the pecking order amongst Tinseltown’s red carpet experts, crowning Leslie Fremar – stylist to Charlize Theron, Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore – as the most powerful image- maker in town. Naming the top 25 fashion pros, the list includes the well know (Rachel Zoe at No.3) to the more up and coming (Taylor Swift’s stylist Joseph Cassell debuting at No.13) and gives an insight into the huge amount of work that goes on behind the style scenes.

THR’s list is more than a congratulatory roll call, as placing in the issue has become a hugely important industry credential. Kate Young – stylist to Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams – has admitted that her No.1 spot last year lead to securing her collaboration with Target. Describing how the collaboration came about she says, "Each year after the Oscars The Hollywood Reporter does a ranking of stylists, and they listed me as number one. And because of that I was asked to be on a TV show. During the interview they asked if I had any dreams, and I talked about bringing that red carpet magic to the real woman. And my friends at Target called and said, 'You want to do this?'"

As well giving the faces behind the frocks some airtime, the issue also offered the opportunity to see the stylists with their clients, with a host of shots including four different covers showcasing their partnerships. Fremar teams up with Julianne Moore for a monochrome moment, Taylor Swift hugs Cassell on the bonnet of a car, Jennifer Lopez reclines between her stylists Rob Zangardi & Mariel Haenn while Zoe Saldana smiles beside her wardrobe boss, Petra Flannery.
