Yasmin and Amber Le Bon are the new faces of Monsoon

Are you one of the original supermodels of the Nineties? Yes? Good, because your high-street retailer needs you - mid-market brands are going gaga for the faces of yesteryear. Following on from Helena Christensen for Boden (which upset Middle England for being too "sultry" - she was wearing a cardie. Go figure) , Cindy Crawford for C&A and Christy Turlington for Esprit, Yasmin Le Bon is the new face of Monsoon's spring/summer 2013 campaign - evidently the brand went all out for its 40th birthday this year.

Sporting wafty tunics and paisley prints (standard for the boho-leaning brand), Le Bon is photographed in the markets and palazzos of Rajasthan, India - the city was the location for Monsoon's first campaign shoot in 1974.

She appears with her equally leggy daughter Amber (can Yasmin really be 48 and mother to a 23-year-old?) for the Limited Edition Heritage Collection, who also fronts a special birthday collaboration designed by students from the Royal College of Art for Fusion, Monsoon's sister range.

The ad was shot by Anders Overgaard, who's done editorials for Vogue , Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar, and styled by Bay Garnett. Le Bon is no stranger to modelling for the high street - or designing for it: she fronted her own range for Wallis a couple of years ago.
