Calling All Copy Kates: Issa London To Launch New Collection With Banana Republic!

Copy Kates, rejoice! We're delighted to hear that Issa, one of our favourite London-based brands, are set to launch their very own high street collection with Banana Republic.

 

Possibly Issa's most memorable moment came in 2010 when one of their dresses was worn to a high-profile engagement announcement. Oh, and it just happened to be a royal engagement with Kate Middleton hand-picking the brand herself. The dress in question is of course THAT blue, silk jersey dress which also has a maternity version for any pregnant fans of the brand. Hmmm we wonder what inspired them to come up with that creation?

                                                         

Issa has famously been a personal fave of the Duchess, as the royal beauty has been spotted wearing her engagement frock in a number of different colours in recent months. The A-list fan-base doesn’t end there though. The brand has also attracted the likes of Madonna, Jessica Alba and Kylie who are hot on the princess’s LK Bennett heels.

The Spring Summer 2013 collection, that showed at February’s London Fashion Week, saw a celebration of colour and jazzy prints getting us in the mood for seaside frolicks, so we’re mega excited to see what Brazilian designer Danielle Helayel has in store for this collection.
