Issa collaborates with Banana Republic

Having survived the potentially crippling effects of Kate Middleton's engagement dress choice , Issa London is now moving up and on with a new collaboration with high street store Banana Republic.
Though the brand has previously collaborated with The Outnet, this 40-piece partnership will bring the London label to a wider, worldwide audience thanks to a more modest price range of £25 to £100, as opposed to the £400 you would usually have to fork out for one of their much-loved wrap dresses.

The line will be carried in 700 stores globally, as well as online. It will reportedly feature kimono, wrap-tie and pleated dresses in patterns and block colours as well as range of jewellery and accessories, all of which we assume will be fit for a Duchess. It will launch on August 13, which, coincidentally, is around the time we assume Kate - who has previosuly been spotted perusing the rails in Banana Republic - will be replenishing her wardrobe post-birth.
"We always love animal prints such as zebra and giraffe stripes," Simon Kneen, Banana Republic's creative director and executive vice president of design told WWD . "Issa took that and modernized it. I love that the collection is our world and their world."
