Simon Cowell on Britains Got Talents return: Im always nervous because I think what if its terrible

Simon Cowell always seems very confident *coughcockycough*, so we're surprised to hear that on occasion he has some doubts.

Britain's Got Talent returns this weekend and Simon has admitted that he was nervous about seeing the first episode in case it wasn't *whispers it* very good.

"I remember watching this episode two weeks ago and I'm always very nervous when the first episode comes in just in, because I think 'what if its terrible?

"I sat there and it just whizzed through and I said to the team at the end, this is great TV," the talent show boss said on This Morning today.

Well that's good to know. To be honest we can't imagine BGT being anything but entertaining.

Co-judge Alesha Dixon added that the talent this is better than ever, and that we can expect to see totally new types of acts,

"It's definitely girls versus boys this year! We've had so much variety this year which has been brilliant, and surprising acts – things that we haven't seen before."

Although Simon did warn that the animal acts aren't up the standard of last year doggy dancing winner Pudsey,

"The donkey did not paint, and the raccoon didn't dance... I can make a prediction - a human will win this year!"

Britain's Got Talent returns on Saturday at 7pm on ITV1
