Forget about her bubblegum pop past - Demi Lovato has gone all gothic in the video for her new single Heart Attack.

The X Factor USA judge looks all mean and moody in the video, and even covers herself in black paint at one point.

We bet that was a nightmare to wash off...

Heart Attack is the lead single to come from 19-year-old Demi's upcoming album, Demi, and is due for release 12 May.
