While we’ve become used to A-listers fronting high street fashion collaborations, it sometimes seems that they’re not exactly 100% committed to their tie in. With a quick photoshoot and launch party over, said stars revert back to their high end wardrobes, seemingly forgetting that they had ever ‘designed’ an accessible collection. But when it comes to Rihanna’s fashion line for high street hero River Island, you certainly couldn’t accuse her of being half-hearted.

Over the past few months RiRi has been working several looks from both her Spring and Summer collections, both on and off the red carpet. Even the most cursory scan through her Instagram profile reveals her love for the line. Only this weekend we saw the Diamonds singer rock a triple denim look – a cropped dungarees top from the Spring line and jeans and jacket from the forthcoming Summer collection. Another weekend outfit included a red sheer shirt and shorts combo also from the new collection – which Rihanna teamed with leather over the knee boots while Ri has also worn her jewelled River Island cap on several occasions. Offering us a preview as well as giving us tips on how to wear the new line, Rihanna has proved her collaboration is totally authentic.

Recently we’ve also seen Ri rock a grey knotted vest from the Spring collection – currently available on the River Island site for £18, and a black maxi dress from the same collection. That cropped denim dungaree top also had another outing, this time layered over a cropped hoodie. So keep your eyes peeled to Ri’s Instagram – there are sure to be plenty of new River Island goodies to be worn by the lady herself!
