Terry Richardson's hand snags Valentino advertising campaign

Lumberjack shirt-loving fashion snapper Terry Richardson isn't your typical camera-shy photographer - a quick click on his website terrysdiary.com reveals that the 47-year-old loves to share candid shots with his subjects - but still, we're a little surprised to find that his right arm makes a star turn in the new Valentino ads.
The bespectacled snapper, who regularly shoots for Yves Saint Laurent and Harper's Bazaar USA, was hired by the storied Roman haute couture house to capture its accessories campaign for the first time.
With the label's Rockstud Rouge and Rockstud Noir studded heels and handbags ready for their close-up, it appears that Richardson's heavily-inked arm couldn't resist making an appearance, creating a sharp juxtaposition against the ladylike accessories.

We are more used to seeing willowy beauties such as Freja Beha Erichsen, Tilda Lindstam and Codie Young promote Valentino's lust-worthy pieces, but designers Pierpaolo Piccioli and Maria Grazia Chiuri told WWD how the images conveyed "the sensual yet elegant nature of our accessories, described as objects of desire."
