TV BAFTAS 2013: "I never expected to be singled out" Clare Balding tells Heat!
Even though she presented the Olympics to millions of people, Clare Balding admitted that she gets nervous when doing public speaking! Talking ahead of her presenting role at the TV BAFTAs, Clare told Heat's very own Lucie Cave and Boyd Hilton that she was worried about delivering her speech.
She said: "I'm doing it without notes and without autocue. Now I'm worried I'm going to get to the stand and freeze and forget everything and think that I've won an Oscar or something." She also spoke about how the Olympics and Paralympics had a huge effect and that she never aimed to be singled out as the star presenter of all of the shows. So very humble!
She also said that she loves The Good Wife, Graham Norton's chat show and that she loves Mad Men, too, but needs to get round to watching it.
