TV BAFTAs 2013: I prefer dogs to A-Listers heat grabs Paul OGrady on the red carpet
If there's anyone we can count on to make us laugh on the red carpet, it's Paul O'Grady. The second he bumped into heat's Boyd Hilton and Lucie Cave he came out with the corker, "I'm being passed around like an hors d'ouvre at a very bad party. The car dropped us down the road and they wouldn't let us in! We said we have an invite!"
Thankfully, the super strict BAFTA security eventually let Paul in where he had some more gems to share with heat. "Some A-listers are OK, but others are primed by their publicists and you can't ask them about anything. I prefer working with the dogs. You're not watching someone at work you're watching someone playing. " Well, dogs are probably easier to handle than some celebs we reckon!
When heat asked Paul what he likes watching on TV, he admitted that he has an eclectic viewing schedule and enjoys the trashier offerings on TV. "I love Shameless, still a big fan of Corrie and the weird documentaries on BBC4 like The History Of The Fruit Machine. I find myself transfixed at 4am, I love all the trash telly, and Family Guy." We have to admit, we have been known to watch a few of those documentaries ourselves…
