Kate Date: We Party With Kate Moss And Her Glossy Mane At L'Oreal's Kerastase Event

Ooh it's always jolly exciting to attend a swanky bash in the presence of the one and only Ms Kate Moss. And so it was we found ourselves last night in the heart of Mayfair, number One Mayfair nonetheless, in the underground vaults of this old church, awaiting the arrival of the nation’s premiere Super.

We had been summoned by hair gods Kerastase to celebrate the fact that Ms Mossy has just been unveiled as the new face of their first ever styling range – the couture styling range. And naturally in the black and white photos of the campaign that adorned the party walls, the 39-year-old looked bloody damn great.

And she looked just as bloody damn great when she eventually arrived in person around 9.30pm. Dressed in a black Louis Vuitton lace and satin slip dress straight from the Autumn Winter 2013 runway (you know, the one she stomped on during Paris Fashion Week), a fur coat and her trademark pair of black patent Louboutins, her legs were bare, braving the cold. And of course lots and lots of glossy Mossy blonde dishevelled locks.

Sweeping through the party with an entourage of at least 10, Ms Moss was chaperoned straight to the cordoned off VIP bit accompanied by Kerastase’s Creative Director, Luigi Murenu (who had previously given a talk about the new range). And as with any party that suddenly finds itself with a supermodel in the room, the atmosphere was immediately cranked up to electrifying.

We didn’t see Kate drink any booze (she’s being super healthy at the mo), but we did see her giggle a lot and boogie to the awesome tunes being spun on the decks. Kate’s old mucker Fran Cutler was in her entourage, dancing with Kate.

We meanwhile guzzled yummy red wine and ate yummy canapés of roast beef things followed by scoops of ice cream in little silver pots while boogying and admiring Kate. She didn’t take her coat off all night either. But then again, it really is very cold right now, isn’t it?
